Bar Italia is the spin-off exhibition of Juan Hitters' cult photography book, recently launched to critical acclaim. The gallery presents a selection of works that unveil Italy’s hidden corners, with a particular focus on Bologna—a city that served as a powerful muse for this project.
“Bar Italia” is a stereotypical yet iconic landmark, found in every small town and major city across the country. Hitters uses this familiar setting as a starting point to delve into the soul of Italy, offering a fresh and deeply personal perspective.
