EARLY WORKS (B&W)
These were the first photographs that I considered serious works. I began my career with 35mm cameras but soon discovered the benefits of medium format cameras, such as the Hasselblad. Later, I became fascinated with the ample possibilities of view cameras and large-format photography.
Even in these early photographs, my main interests are already evident: the poetry of silent light, rich textures, surrealistic abandoned spaces, and the beauty of serenity. They show how my perspective moved towards more abstract compositions, and they already contain the seeds of what would eventually become my mature series, "Concrete" and "Rupestres."
I find it interesting to observe how the quality of execution has always been paramount for me. In these early analogue photographs, my technical abilities were far above standard. I developed my own negatives and printed my photos on baryta-based papers, gaining recognition as a lab artist. Among distinct works, I provided prints for various photo books by the award-winning Argentinian photographer Marcos Zimmermann.
Portrait and landscape formats are 60X90 cm big (printed on 82x112 cm fine art paper), while squared ones are 100X100 cm (printed on 112x112 cm fine art paper). Limited original vintage prints available.
